As my 2012 season finished quite early this year and I didn’t have time to train much during the autumn I did just three runs a week and started training more at the start of December. This was when my friend asked me if I fancied running a traditional New Year’s Day half marathon locally. There are normally only around 70 or 80 hardcore people who turn up so I decided ok, why not!
After finishing 8th in 1h25 and pulling my calf muscle into the bargain I am preparing to write a review about it. In the meantime please have a look at the other race reviews I have been writing…..
